In a normal government what is wrong would be illegal; in a regressive government what is not profitable is illegal. We have a regressive government where liberality is the freedom to do what is wrong so that what is profitable is legal.

Progressiveness or socialism wishing to govern by what is right for most people has been attacked through wealthy private ownership of media where battery (advertisement) tells us that our regressive government is a normal government.

The ownership oriented wealthy use their oligarchy to denounce progress as “special rights for the poor” and oppose it through budget cuts and greed. In our regressive government doing what is profitable for the few and having the wealthy control the laws through their oligarchs is advertised as normal, but examining history shows it is regressive as regressing through history reveals serfdom (feudalism) and then slavery (Empirism) based economies.

In our plutocratic oligarchy progressiveness and socialism is replaced by the term liberalism since liberalism means freedom. More specifically, the freedom to regress the government’s laws in favor of the profiting of the wealthy and the furtherance of their plutocracy that uses oligarchs in government to write the laws. Thus come the names neoliberal conservative (neocon – the freedom of the rich to get richer at the rest of the people’s expense) and libertarian as the right of the wealthy not to be interfered with by the people through the government or its laws.

The United States of America, however, is becoming more progressive. For those who cannot afford necessities there are less barriers to normal or average citizens applying for and receiving social benefits, such as Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT, food stamps, SNAP), healthcare (medicare, medicaid), pensions (Social Security), unemployment insurance, et cetera as rights for citizens regardless of their class.
